About Me

John Charles Taylor

I have had a keen interest in photography for many years through documenting the lifestyles of mountain biking and snowboarding and general landscape photography. In 2006 I began a Photography degree course at the University of Central Lancashire and it was here that I began taking a keen interest in fashion and documentary photography. I graduated with an upper second in 2009 and promptly setup as a freelance photographer taking jobs photographing weddings, events, portraits and products. I also had other work assisting various photographers working on fashion shoots in team situations. I am experienced in both studio and location lighting, film and digital formats and whilst my personal work is inspired by lifestyle, fashion and documentary, I am not restricted to these genres and like to put my creativity to any challenge.
